    1. Dear Dr Rai

We are trying to choose between IIM – Kozikode (PGP) and SPJIMR – Mumbai (for PGDM – 2 years full time) pursuing MBA Course.
My son Sarthak Shah has secured admission through CAT 2017 (99.56) in both of these , he is final year student from NIT Surat – B Tech Mechanical. Had secured MDI too which is not in consideration now.
I am his father and 1980 Civil Engineer from M S University Baroda settled at Gandhinagar Gujarat
Seek your advice and guidance in selecting the institute , would be highly oblidged

      Regards

      Bhavesh Shah

      1. I am not sure if this space is big enough for me to answer that question. I have addressed some of it in a book chapter titled, The Role of Hinduism in Global India and her Business Ethics. In Capaldi, N, (Eds.), Business and Religion: A Clash of Civilizations? Salem, MA:M&M Scrivener Press. 379-389. Should you have further specific questions, I would love to answer them.

    2. Sir I Manish sharma research scholar at dept of sanskrit in jamia milliya islamia . I want to know that is there any formal course or any subject or any topics where you touch the sanskrit that you teach in your institution . kindly send me information . i will be very thankfull if we will talk verbaly on this . my no. is *********

      1. We do not teach Sanskrit at IIML. If you are referring to Sanskrit that I use in my research/classes/courses, it comes out of my personal interest and the love for the language. You are welcome to call me up and have a chat; I have blanked out your number from the public forum but I do have it saved. All the best.

    3. Hello sir,
I have a doubt. Could you please help me.

I want to prepare for CAT exam. My academics are not so good, 10th (BSEB board) – 62.2%, 12th (BSEB Board) – 64.8%, B.Tech(CSE) – 70% and extra curicular activity are also less.
Considering obc category, how much percentile we score in cat to get oldest iim (ABCKLI).

      1. Hello Sourav,
There is no set formula by which one can suggest you about the percentile needed to get admission into an older IIM or to even predict if it were even possible given your academic scores of the past. I would recommend you look at the criteria of the individual IIMs (all IIMs have different criteria for admission) in terms of weights given to different criteria and figure out which ones you could realistically target. Next, give your best attempt to CAT and then move ahead accordingly. All the best.
